If only
“ IF ONLY”
She only knew the pain she was faced with every day. Laying there in bed wishing if only she could dream it all away. If only for a moment. Just a single fucking Moment. she could take just a moment to have control to own it. If only in her sleep she could even find some peace. From the one thing you don’t understand from wounds that you cant see.
If only she could speak to someone who would hear. If only they could know How many deadly thoughts were almost made so real. Standing on the edge, inching closer to the ledge and those maddening thoughts that whisper you’d be better off dead. Fighting with all her might to make it through the night like she has had to do for all of her life.So tired of the crying and feeling that she’s dying. Telling everyone she’s ok with a smile. She's so tired of lying.
I dreamt I was dreaming and you were so scared as you lay dying and nobody cared. And in my dreaming, I opened my eyes you were gone without warning I was left to cry. If only the winds of sadness could lift you up to fly. If only you didn’t believe the only choice was to die.
I see how you feel. Your eyes make it so clear. I want you to know the Love I have for you is so Very Real! Your hurt and pain that drives you insane. Has made you brave and strong enough to live another day. You saved my life not once not twice. you made me look at my soul through open eyes.
I don’t want to fix you’ some fights are yours alone. I'll be your place of rest when your mind can’t find a home. If only you would know just before I go. Your stronger than Anyone that I've ever known. Nothing can take the light within you. I love you, if only, you'd not go.
