Beautiful man

Free verse
His blue eyes, elegant as the never ending sky.
His smile, pure as the early morning breeze.
Beautiful man,
he speaks to me calmly as he takes my heart.
"I will never leave you," escapes his lips.
Beautiful man,
those soft lips that beg to be passionately kissed.
His freckles, lovely as the constellation of stars.
Beautiful man,
he's energy that unapologetically matches mine,
what a sweet sweet soul he has,
making me fall for him.
Beautiful man,
beautiful indeed.

About this poem

I wrote this poem about a guy I met a little while ago and he sparked something in me that I haven't felt. Unfortunately it didn't work out but he's still a very special guy.
