Abuse

Marjorie Friedel 1977 (Indiana)

Abuse

Well, I did it again, he’s angry now,  I should’ve done better, just didn't know how.
It's all my fault how he slaps me around, it's all my fault for bringing him down!
Pushing his buttons is what I do best, it's probably the way I dress!
He reminds me of all the things that I've done, that has made him the man that he has become!
Why did I think this was ever okay, why in the hell did I ever stay?
I let him make me believe, there's no way I could ever leave! I needed him to live my life, I needed him to survive!
Manipulted, brainwashed its all just control, they get in your brain, and take over your soul!
Goodbye now you've pushed me away, I thought that I’de  miss you some gloomy day!
But that never happened, I was glad you were gone, I began living my life no longer withdrawn!
