I am sorry

The ebbs of laughter crowded our chins
Our mouths sinking into joy
With an unending crackling sound
We always felt the peace in each others space

Days have rolled on by
Without my touch
Weeks and weeks and yet none of your warm embrace
It was then my mind loaded up on worry
The wrong thing I could have allowed
In that gleeful moment

You snapped. I made you angry
With my insistent behavior

Our moment turned sour
And the phone hanged down

I was so sad. I hurt when I hear your anger
But I also saw what I did wrong

Yet my mind was calculating the intentions;
Why would I just want to cause you grief?
That’s what made me feel hurt
That you would think so

But , this time around , I paused
You are right , I was wrong
If I was more conscious and intentional
I would have remembered you don’t like this ;

The insistence dynamic on a matter!

I am sorry.

I am very sorry that my questions caused the anger
You exuded toward me.

I am sorry my behavior ignited you in that way
I should have done better.
