Song # 10

Luis A. Estable 1958 (Oriente, Cuba)

This time of year awakes in me
Sadness and pain I can't control.
And often ugliness I see,
And hurting much does go my soul.

And my two eyes a river cry
That I'm alone, no family.
No friends to see; to them say hi
And share good times, felicity!

So, hurry, please, and go away
December month and all with it!
This painful sadness is no play
To the whole world I do admit.

Beautifully written sadness. I agree with you, and I was born in December. They say it's the most wonderful time of the year..bullpucky,!!
The job of winter is to kill off the weak so only the strong will mate in the spring!
