The One Who Comes Has To Go

From the moment we're born,
Our journey's set in stone,
For we all must depart,
And leave this world alone.

We may live a long life,
Or depart before our prime,
But in the end, we know,
That we're running out of time.

The one who comes must go,
It's the way it's always been,
So, we must cherish each moment,
And hold our loved ones tight within.

For life is but a fleeting thing,
A brief moment in the sun,
And though we must say goodbye,
Our legacy will live on.

So let us live our lives with purpose,
And love with all our hearts,
For though we cannot stay forever,
Our memories will never depart.

About this poem

This poem is a reflective piece about the inevitability of death and the fleeting nature of life. It touches on the idea that all of us, no matter who we are or what we do, will eventually have to leave this world. The poem encourages the reader to make the most of their time here on earth, to cherish the moments they have with their loved ones, and to live with purpose and passion. Overall, this poem reminds us of the importance of living in the present, appreciating the people and experiences that make life worth living, and making the most of the time we have before we must say goodbye.
