Finally free

Bruce Allen Mason 1963 (Huntsville Alabama)

You thought you had me but that's no more, I turned my hand over and I emptied you to the floor. Now I'm standing with my head erect, getting all man's respect. You tricked me into thinking that I needed you most, you became my family my friend then my party host. You were by my side when I got paid then you'd go away when I spent all I made my. When I stood up to you, you changed the game...breaking all the rules, still I'm to blame. I am so sick of being so sick I made new rules and I'm making them stick. You'll be in my life forever no more, I turned my hand over and emptied you to the floor. No more sneaking or peaking and crawling around, my hands are loose, they're finally unbound. I have no excuses it's all on me. I'm letting you go and I'm finally free
