My Seasons Of Life

Candice Sapp 1982 (Morgantown West Virginia)

In the darkest winter of my life,
When all that I could see was strife;
I faithfully followed a vibrant light,
That stayed with me through the starless night.

My heart did spring from the icy chill;
When I think of it, I can feel it still.
I've only just begun to heal
I've only just begun to feel....

The soothing breeze on summer waves,
When every day is a sunny day;
It's funny, I can finally say
It feels good to be alive today!

Though every now and then I fall,
I'm losing leaves, but through it all,
Through the darkest winters of my life;
I never lost that vibrant light.

A loving mother of a beautiful 18 year old daughter named Ariel. I love my daughter's laugh. Her laugh makes my day light up like a kid on Christmas morning. I love this girl so much. Xoxo more…
