The Colour of Love

Love is practically bumpy
Kindness shows and sacrificially serves
Worrying, yet prudentially expressed
Life in its real mortal essence
More than names or tags
Love is delightful twist of life.

Love is ecstatic, yet ample in sting
Comforting and satisfactory to give
Weighty, not of measure
Brutally flamed, yet most desirable
Expressed in value relieving in words
Love is measured but not of scale or length

Love is working the purest of acts,
The salting of mortality
The touching of souls
The melting of hearts
The Snowing of duties
Love is the blossom of life.

About this poem
