Mended Soul

Broken souls, shattered and torn
Fragments scattered, like pieces of a torn
A journey begins, to heal and to mend
To find their way back, to love and to blend.

It starts with the pain, and the tears that they cry
With acceptance, and letting the past say goodbye
They learn to forgive, themselves and the past
And to embrace, the present moment at last.

With each step they take, they grow stronger and wise
Their wounds start to heal, and their spirit starts to rise
They learn to trust, and to love once again
And to find joy, in the beauty within.

The broken pieces, come together once more
In a beautiful mosaic, they've never seen before
A mended soul, shines with a new light
A soul, now whole, ready to take flight.
