Forever Friends

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

The Lord grants rest to those that he loves,
And shows them their place here in heaven above.
Make no man your teacher, don’t listen to them.
Until you listen to God and can call him your friend.

Inquire of him, he will answer your call,
He will strengthen your faith so you’ll never fall.

He’ll hold tight to your hand when you slip on your path.
He’ll show you his mercy and keep you from wrath.
His patience is long and his love never ends.
Come hangout with Jesus and he’ll call you all friends.
