A Date with New York

Huge city enveloped by the night
With myriad shiny twinkling eyes
Your magic floods with joy my heart
And I stretch my arms to give  You
A  Hug  of  Love  !

Oh to be young enough to love NYC again! I did, for one day out of one week I spent there. DC was my city and there's no doing anything about it. But thank you for reminding me of that feeling.

You hear so much negative about NY. It's a breath of fresh air reading your positive outlook. Thankyou

I loved NYC I have only ever been once. I really didn't expect it to steal my heart like it did. I long to go back again, a great poem reminds me of how much I loved it there
