It Isn't Right

It Isn't Right
By Nancy Rodriquez

It isn't right for you to close me off the way you do,
This shows me all of the proof,
You do not want to see me cry,
The tears flow as an ocean is wide,
The love I hold in my heart is deep for you,
My head knows the reasons too,
I do not wish to give up the fight to keep us strong,
For every victory I may get close to, you keep a set of wrongs,
It isn't right for you to be this way,
Though I share in many mistakes,
Why is it hard for you to see,
You belong right here with me?
I may have hurt you beyond repair,
You are cold and unfeeling, beyond any care,
and it hurts to see this from you,
Judging me the way you do,
and to never kiss and cling onto you again,
some other woman could be getting from my man,
You can't tell me when I am to have closure,
I alone am the one to discover,
and I never give up in this plight,
to take back what is mine, Oh lover of the night.
