Reborn From the Cinders : The Undaunted Vigor

Mawphniang Napoleon 1993 (Ri Bhoi)

Amidst the darkness, I stand, a lone figure
Surrounded by those who wish to defame
Their words, like arrows, strike, but I'm a vigour
Undaunted by their malice and their shame

"You can say anything about me," I hear
"The right to spoil my reputation is yours"
Their taunts and jeers, they cannot stir my fear
For their hatred only serves to fuel my force

They underestimate me, look down on me
Throw stones, spit on my face, and use my life
As their lavatory, but I will not flee
For I am ready to face their every strife

I see myself burning, falling to the ground
And yet, it is not defeat that I have found

"You see me going down and burning myself to ashes,
you're lucky to witness my fall"
But I am not finished, not yet, not at all
For in these ashes, a phoenix will be found

I trust and support, but I'm betrayed by you
Stabbed in the back, as Brutus did to Caesar
Yet, still, I do not seek revenge or rue
For my vision and focus remain clearer

I work hard, smart, and strive for my freedom
To rise again, to soar beyond the sky
As my backstabbers dwell in their own boredom
I'll break these chains and never ask them why

"You backstabbed me, you are free to live"
But know that your words will not make me give

To those who held a candle, I'm grateful
For you were there when I was in despair
And even though you're not always available
In my heart and mind, you're always there

"One day I will rise again like a phoenix"
And to those who hurt me, I'll be a nemesis

For this is my testament to myself
That even in the darkest of hours
I'll rise again and be my own wealth
And my strength will be like a tower

"One day you will tell your love one how you were my friend"
And speak of me in words that never end

My story will be told to others
Of how I faced adversity with strength
And even though I was betrayed by brothers
I did not waver, did not lose my length

So go ahead, throw your stones and spit
Use my name and life, if that's what you see fit

For in the end, I'll be the one who'll win
And you, my foe, will be the one in sin

For my focus and my vision are clear
And I'll rise again, without any fear.

And as I stand amidst the rubble and ash
I know that this is not the end
For I will rise again, with renewed passion and flash
And my backstabbers , I'll transcend

They may think that they've won, that they've broken me
But little do they know, that their victory is fleeting
For I am stronger than they ever thought I could be
And my spirit, they will never be defeating

I do not seek their forgiveness or their mercy
For I know that it will never come
And I will not allow their hatred to reverse me
For I am the master of my own outcome

My journey may be long and full of trials
But with every step, I grow stronger
And I will not let their words or their denials
Stop me from achieving my goals any longer

For I am a warrior, and I will not give up
Even in the face of defeat and pain
And my courage, my strength, will never be enough
To hold me back or make me refrain

And so, as I look back at the road that I have traveled
I see the obstacles, the hurdles, and the pain
But I also see the triumphs, the victories unraveled
And I know that I have not journeyed in vain

For I have learned the lessons that life has to teach
And I have grown in ways that I never thought I could
And even though my backstabbers may try to beseech
Me, their power over me, they never understood

For I am a phoenix, rising from the ashes
And with every trial, I am reborn
And my backstabbers , their power over me, crashes
As I stand strong and unwavering, never forlorn

And so, my testament to myself is this
That no matter what comes my way
I will rise again, with strength and with bliss
And my backstabbers , they'll rue the day

That they ever thought they could hold me down
Or stop me from achieving my dreams
For I am a warrior, with a purpose profound
And my spirit, it forever gleams

So let them say what they will, throw their stones and spit
For I know that I will rise again
And my story, it will be told, bit by bit
Of how I triumphed over my pain.

They may have all the right to spoil my reputation
And underestimate me at every turn
But I know that I am more than just a sensation
And that my resilience is something they cannot burn

It's true that they betrayed me, stabbed me in the back
And used my life and name as their lavatory
But I will not let their actions lead me off track
For I am determined to rise with renewed glory

My vision and my focus remain as clear as day
Even as I face the darkest of hours
And though they tried to knock me down, I will not sway
For I know that I hold the ultimate power

To work hard and smart on myself, to strive for better
And to not seek revenge or cause them any harm
For my life and my journey, I am the only debtor
And my future, it's mine to disarm

I won't brag about my achievements, I won't boast
For I know that true success is silent
And I won't let their betrayal become my ghost
For I am determined to remain defiant

As I run against time to find my freedom once more
I won't forget those who held a candle during my strife
For they helped me to rise up, to soar
And to emerge stronger, with a new lease on life

One day, my backstabbers will see my rise
And they will know the depth of their mistake
As they see the power that they had tried to undermine
And how I was able to overcome and break

For I am like the phoenix, rising from the ashes
Stronger, wiser, and more determined than ever before
And my backstabbers , their power over me, it crashes
As I stand tall, unbroken, and unflawed to the core

And as I write this testament to myself
I know that one day, my story will be told
Of how I triumphed over pain, betrayal, and self-doubt
And how I rose from the ashes, brave and bold

So let them say what they will, let them throw their stones
For I know that my spirit will never break
And though my backstabbers may have once held the throne
I am the one who will rise again, make no mistake.

And when my story is told, and my legacy is known
They will speak of me with reverence and awe
Of how I faced the darkness and was not overthrown
And how I stood tall and emerged from the flaw

For I am the master of my own destiny
And I will not let anyone hold me down
I will rise above, with strength and tenacity
And claim my rightful place with a resounding sound

So let them underestimate me, let them try
For I know that my potential is boundless
And as I continue to work hard and strive
I will emerge victorious and groundless

I will not forget those who supported me
And who held a candle in the darkest of nights
For they are the ones who helped me to see
The light in the tunnel and the end in sight

And though my backstabbers may have once held the power
I am the one who will rise and claim the throne
For I have the strength to endure and to flower
And I will never be defeated, I will never be alone

So let them say what they will, let them underestimate
For I know that their words hold no weight
And as I rise from the ashes, I will demonstrate
That true strength and power cannot be bought or bought.

And so I leave this testament to myself
As a reminder of all that I can be
Of how I rose above, with my inner peace and stealth
And became the person I was always meant to be

For I am the phoenix, rising from the ashes
Stronger, wiser, and more determined than before
And as I take flight, with hope and passion
I will soar to heights never before explored.
