A Need to Feed

I don’t want what I want, I want what I need,
If you look inside I have a passion to feed,
A passion for life, not for death that encumbers,
Yes, I want to live and I don’t want to slumber.

Your rest is for me, I don’t want to stray,
O Lord in your arms is where I want to stay.
Let me feed your sheep as I follow your lead,
And if it’s Your will then yes let me bleed.

How wonderful you are, how beautiful your feet,
When I open the door, you say sit in my seat.
You stood up and said now you sit down,
You’re wearing my ring so I’ll give you a crown.


Now go spread the Word and bring to me the glory,
As I’m anointing your head and giving you authority.
