Oddyssey

Molly J Heath 1984 (Waco, tx)

Conceived in a world full of hopes and dreams,
I believe that I was meant to do great things,
Now I find myself, dropped to my knees,
Asking God, to help me please,
I'm dying inside, no sign of relief,
Drug addiction is, most definitely a disease,
After a moment of clarity, your life is affected,
It can however, at some point be arrested,
Repeatedly rejected, effortlessly effected,
Your life can be corrected, if only ou accept it,
Patience is a virtue, not everyone hold,
Remain impatient, and your life unfolds,
Regain your dignity, have a primary goal,
Relatively speaking, dig a way out this hole,
Honesty in recovery, will set us free,
You see, modesty is what difficult for me,
But oddly enough, I see it's quality,
This life we live, truly is an oddyssey.
