For someone to be or appear to be smart
Can’t even tell another what’s in her heart
She will keep it a secret and hold it inside
Hoping the feelings will go away or eventually die
Seeing the one she loves with someone else
Just burns deeply preparing her heart to melt
Wanting to be kind but wishing they would part
While saying in her mind how did these feeling ever start
She couldn’t afford or wouldn’t even try to begin
Because she loves her lord but wants to take a journey to sin
To come abroad and sleep with a man of another woman
