Ah the information age
click, click, click
is all the rage
with a swipe and a tap
I turn the page
and keep myself locked
in a digital cage
don't unlock it
or let me out
without your input
I may just pout
unlimited data
with glee I shout
The more likes I get
Is my ego's clout

See me, hear me and watch me be
doing the mundane
for all to see
follow my content
and subscribe
Please belong to my digital tribe
as I offer you a binary bribe
of the empty, sad and alone
keeping you hooked
and glued to the phone
with mediocracy and a bit of glitz
it's my soul sucking message
A dollar raping cyber blitz

All I care for you and yours
is the attention I get
from you worthless whores
so open your wallet and pray to me
that liking me isn't free
Ain't I cute? Tee hee
Now pay me and leave me be

Eric (and sometimes not)
