After 30 Years

After 30 Years, I get excited when you come home,
After 30 Years, I still adore your voice on the phone,
After 30 Years, I don’t desire anyone else,
After 30 Years, we’re striving to improve ourselves,
After 30 Years, we support two grown kids,
After 30 Years, we've collected way too many lids,
After 30 Years, we’ve ventured near and far,
After 30 Years, I still can’t play guitar,
After 30 years, your gorgeous eyes still shine,
After 30 years, we finally own a feline,

After 30 years, our house still stands,
After 30 years, I still play in bands,
After 30 years, I’ve collected thousands of CDs,
After 30 years, we eliminated an Oak tree,
After 30 years, we’ve provided for several pets,
After 30 years, you prefer to hang in sweats,
After 30 years, our hair is turning grey,
After 30 years, it’s hard to lose the weight,
After 30 years, you still light up when I sing,
After 30 years, I wouldn’t change a thing,

After 30 years, our minds have begun to decline,
After 30 years, our lives are even more entwined,
After 30 years, your smile still warms my heart,
After 30 years, I'm dread to be apart,
After 30 years, we’ve shed too many tears,
After 30 years, we’ve faced our deepest fears,
After 30 years, we still reach for each other,
After 30 Years, There will never be another,
After 30 years, I know this to be true,
After 30 years, I’m still in Love with You!
