Let me fly

I don't want to see the ground
Only want to see the sun
On my wings
Don't want to feel gravity
Just the safety of these walls as I fly

I don't want to feel the wind
Choking the air from my lungs
I want to soar
I want to glide

I don't want to feel the speed
Don't want to feel anyone lead
I want to fly with my eyes
Don't want to die

I don't want to kill the man
Who takes up the war on man
I understand the error of their hand
An Angel said
They don't want them dead
Don't want them dead...
