Sorry King

One day, our King Charles, went walking.
A waiter, bumped into him, so shocking!
“Oh, sorry, King”, said he,
Didn’t say, “Your Majesty”
King found the whole thing amusing!

About this poem

There is a story in the News today (4th Jan 2023) about a waiter at a London Pub and King Charles. That story sparked this limerick!
