Meet Me There

Meet Me There
Can you meet me…meet me in that place where our laughs are superb to this world’s understanding
Follow me on the direction that I’m leading you, through the forests and woods of my soul
Find me, where you always knew I would be
Bring back the thought of the time that I cried…I cried so heavy, your t-shirt drenched in late night tears
Cigarette sessions, front seat lessons, and many moons we go
Meet me where I left bitter emotions hanging on the front porch, wooden chair
Where you grab my heart, just rubbing my hair, hand in hand, clearly unclear
Can you meet me…meet me in that place, meet me now, meet me there
Could it be forgotten, where love was so easily uneasy, so confusingly uncomplicated
Can it really be just a mere memory that was caught in the wind, gone, an unknown direction
Does that place exist anymore, have it vanished with the time left in space and mistakes
Can you meet me…meet me in that place where our privacy was our chain, where our smiles were our own, in that time I was never alone
Am I of late arrival, or was this setting of none existence…meet me there…. or am I too late
Meet me now…meet me there…remember just one moment…. meet me in that place
