Her Scars

As she lays there in the dark, not a peep in the air, no movement, as daylight begins to start..she thinks about her scars, her pain, her losses...through all the rain she has carried she has never imagined any gains....As she lifts her body to stand up, she remembers her dad telling her be strong, standup like a man....all the demands she followed.....all the ache she swallowed....as her heart turns hollow, she stands up and pushes out a smile..she thinks "wow", it's been a while....she has walked miles in her pain and as she looks at her scars, all she can think about is the dark and the marks it has made....Today is a new day...as she begins to pray....her scars she try's to explain, what can she possibly say.....As she wishes and prays to be set free.... she remembers that her scars will never go away....As she starts to lay back down; she asks the Lord to just take her far.....All she wants is to see the stars....nothing will erase her scars!!..
