Equality

If we love people around us for their superiority,
And we hate some because for their simplicity,
THEN WHY DO WE TALK ABOUT EQUALITY ?

If all the attention and respect is given
to people of status and high authority,
And some are ignored
by the virtue of their inadequacy,
THEN WHY DO WE TALK ABOUT EQUALITY?

if money is the only parameter to judge one's success and capacity,
And few are discarded
for their insufficiency,
THEN WHY DO WE TALK ABOUT EQUALITY?

If boys are privileged to leisure and study,
And  girls are deprived despite their strength and intellectuality,
THEN WHY DO WE TALK ABOUT EQUALITY?

If husbands are the pillars and breadwinners of the family,
And wives, ridiculed of their weakness and vulnerability,
THEN WHY DO WE TALK ABOUT EQUALITY?

If white is the symbol of sanctity and purity,
And blacks are  refused for their  needs and necessity,
THEN WHY DO WE TALK ABOUT EQUALITY ?
