Dearest mother

Akshita Dhar 1998 (Jammu)

Ode

Dearest Ma,

The sun that
lights up the
ruinous path
of my life.

The moon,
the eternal
calm to
my chaos.

The rainbow,
the ray of hope
to my hopeless heart.

The stardust,
smile so shiny
that lits up
my dull day.

The ocean,
carrying my
secrets deep
in your heart.

The most beautiful
muse for my simple poetry.
