CHASING MEMOIES

So much to do, so little time
chasing memories from our minds
They never choose to leave,
they have locked themselves inside
All the pretending to be what you are not
and remember who you are
Now take the chains that hurt you so
cut them loose, reach out open the door
that you thought was locked before
grasp on tight, don't lose your hold
time seemed so grim
you thought you needed to reach back again
hang onto your soul
pleasure will overtake
take away the heartbreak
just remember to not make the same mistake
change your road before it's too late
something is not meant to be that way
the things you never wanted to say
hold on tight and enjoy the ride
I think you will like what you find.
now you can enjoy chasing memories in your mind
because they are here to stay until the end of time.
