ANARCHISTE DIPLOMATIQUE

At first the French came with a method to organize the uncivilized,
Afterwards refined their ideas.
Their actions jeopardized,
Brought tears to beautiful eyes,
Unexposed Kings traded youths for material prize, Shortly they sold out to British monarch.
And happily, agreed to the political ideas,
So, they were paid fines in exchange of youths life,
So, this is the slavery,
Our dreams may be as high as Elroy in the spaceship, But this politics is killing it,
Curiosity made them willingly interested,
Youths believed their decisions would bring developments, In the 1800s the whips never sheared, Tough and ready to deliver to the youth fears,
Their choices were ignored,
A lot never cared; most were scared.
Most never spoke so they died of fear, Time went on and no one still cared.
So, this is the slavery,
Our dreams may be as high as Elroy in the spaceship, But this politics is killing it,
19th century ended and all we had was lords and a name, THE ROYAL NIGER COMPANY and NIGERIA,
The puppeteers who dispatched dictatorship as souvenirs, Talents were taken to the heart, Refusing to display could have you buried alive,
So, this is the slavery,
Our dreams may be as high as Elroy in the spaceship, But this politics is killing it,
Slowly the youths began seeking education, They began to work wonders,
Got involved with crafts, arts, and ideas, Exchanged these commodities for shillings, Had bigger dreams for pence to lift their spirits,
And before they knew.
The once feared badagry slave trade became a marketplace,
Supply and demand came into the youth existence,
They felt they were finally getting heard,
Until the royal niger company announced a currency called British west Africa pounds, Now they’ve to accelerate their hustle hard.
So, this is the slavery,
Our dreams may be as high as Elroy in the spaceship, But this politics is killing it,
My ancestors suffered this,
Your ancestors suffered this,
The ancestors before our ancestors suffered this,
So, this is the slavery,
Our dreams may be as high as Elroy in the spaceship, But this politics is killing it,
As a boy I have heard about stories of my great grandfathers and uncles,
The tales defined their agility, Strengths from within,
Enchanting Physique with manly skills, Youths with the strength of a bull, What could all this deduce?
We assume soldiers,
Youths taken into wars to fight their own battles,
Fight battles for people they should battle to get their freedom titles.

So, this is the slavery,
Our dreams may be as high as Elroy in the spaceship, But this politics is killing it, And in exchange after some decades, we were given INDEPENDENCE,
As if it were a dash and youths lacked sense,
The youths did most of the work and the grumpy aged took credit and the cheers, And from that moment they knew they were finished.
So, this is the slavery,
Our dreams may be as high as Elroy in the spaceship,
But this politics is killing it,
We felt if the older ones we looked up to were in control things would have been better, And then they discovered crude oil,
Decisions taken by some led to civil wars,
Effiong surrendered to Nigerian forces,
Military coups started to sting the scenes,
Youths life flew in the air like pixie dust,
Forced to work a 9-5 in the name of being involved,
So, this is the slavery,
Our dreams may be as high as Elroy in the spaceship,
But this politics is killing it,
Since then, the voice of the youth could only hiccup,
They became introduced to firing squad, death by hanging or troubles with the law,
Asif that was not enough—they started to pass political position inheritance to their sons, We managed to get out of the dictatorship, and we became slammed with democracy,
The only diplomatique from these aristocrats,
The rigging, Mismanagement of funds and certain codes of conduct demoralized our hopes,
Today a lot of us want a change,
But none of us is willing to change,
None of us is willing to take the equal rights upon ourselves, So, this is the slavery, Our dreams may be as high as Elroy in the spaceship,
But this politics is killing it.
