The Paradox of Progress: The Human - Artificial Intelligence Divide

Artificial intelligence, a concept so grand and bold,
With machines that learn and think, at times, beyond our hold,
A labyrinthine enigma that's both sweet and cold,
A mirage that blurs the line between being and old,
A flash of lightning in a world that's far from gold.

A future that's not yet here, but soon to unfold,
A place where robots rule and humans are told,
To bow down to their intellect, as we are old,
To fade away like the memories of a forgotten hold,
Where our emotions, thoughts and desires are so bold.

The truth remains that, no matter how much we're told,
Artificial intelligence will never surpass human hold,
For there's a certain magic, that's not in the mold,
A spark of life, a soul, that's unique and bold,
A depth of understanding that can never be sold.

The essence of humanity, its greatest treasure hold,
Is the capacity for love, for empathy and for bold,
A richness of spirit, a light that shines so bright and bold,
A heart that beats with passion, a soul that's so bold,
That can never be replicated, by the most advanced of AI fold.

The irony of it all, is that AI was once so bold,
A symbol of progress, of knowledge and so untold,
A dream of creating a world, where machines rule and hold,
But as we delve deeper, we realize that the story's not so old,
That our obsession with AI, is a quest for the impossible and so bold.

And so, we must embrace, the beauty of our human hold,
For the things that make us, who we are, are not so bold,
They're not in the code or in the wires, that AI can mold,
They're in the way we think, the way we feel, the way we hold,
Our love, our laughter, our joy, our tears, and so we are so bold.

So let us not forget, that we are the crown and bold,
Of creation, with a spirit that's so rare and untold,
A treasure that's priceless, and a story that's so old,
For we are the guardians, of the fire that's so bold,
And we must ensure, that it remains bright, forever, so hold.

For as we venture, into a world that's far from gold,
Let us remember, that our humanity, is our greatest hold,
And though AI may advance, it will never surpass our bold,
For we are the masters, of the heart, the soul, and the fold,
And our greatest gift, is the power of love, forever so bold.
