Never a will stronger

The sky was so blue
That the light turned to snowflakes
When I thought of you
It glistened and it rayed
As in the fresh air I prayed
And I thought about waiting there
With each word of prayer
But I knew my body would grow weak
And life would call and tare
Though, if I could one day merge with you
As the angels take me away
You'd answer my sweetest fantacy yet,
There would be things I have to know
I may not have met every perfect soul
Perhaps after eternity when all your work is done
You could return me once again
To the dying sun
For if therein that moment
I touched a forgotten earth
That all might have forgotten
Their heads turned to a new worth
I would know how it feels
If only for a while
How to live forever
With only you by my side
And then when this intimate space is nevermore
Perhaps they will come for me again
To fill your heart with pride and joy
And uplift the hearts of men
