Just thinking

I find myself
Thinking about you again
In the early light of the day
Or the darkness of the night
You were once upon a time
A dream I could not find
A nightmare I could not fight
But you were there
To hold my hand
There to dry my tears
The love I have for you
Conquers all my fears
But is it enough
To hold on to the pain
That remebering you so reluctantly gives
The ache you make my heart feel
When being close to you gave me chills
We both know it's not enough to hold onto
Not enough time to go through
Everything we did to each another
But enough to deal
With the constant screaming and yelling
The force of it all
Made me always fall
Deeper in love with you
But yet made me want to
Run away from you
Because no amount of love
Is worth the pain
Of knowing you're not here
So I find myself thinking of you again
For the memories are worth holding onto
Even though we both know
The pain we've been through
You won't leave my mind and heart
No matter how hard I try
I'll continue living blindly
With every  thought of you
Forever reminded of it all
So I say this once again
I've been thinking of you lately
And that's the end.
