Send them an Angel

I know Dear God
That I am still here
To work off the pain
And burn away fear
I'm sorry for all
The times that I lost
Walking on the wrong path
A path without remorse
I wish I had spent more hours like you
Bringing joy and song
Like the children do
On the path of Assention
And the footsteps of truth
Where in this form I am living proof
That you are my guide
A poet so true
It leaves only trust and love
Through and through
I hope that the angels
Can gently console
The terrible things
That you saw
And the mistakes weakness can draw
From this body brought to you
Instead of resisting the evil I knew
And all I can say and all that I do
Should have been spent by loving you
In all of the people, animals and earth
That my time past quickly
Is no excuse
For all of my heart feels the echoes of you
May the angels bare all the things that I do
For I know that I am beyond fair change
And I stumble upon your messages
And I feel quite maimed
You are the meaning and that I seek
With so much love I can hardly speak
But I don't give up
Not on you
And I know that you hear
And that part of me is you
But you are not to blame
It is my free will
And I share it with you
This is what you let me do
That I know this is not my reality
Feels so confusing even to me
One day you will tell me
I got you all wrong
And that everything is perfect
Where noone is in the wrong
So if on that day
I turn my face
Cannot look you in the eye
Or cry at your grace
Remember I tried
At least some of the time
The times I felt fine
Please sometimes still think...
You are mine.
