PICTURES ARE NOT MEMORIES

I try to tell myself that I am fine around this time every year even with the tears running from my eyes and my heart and mind playing tricks that they are not really spinning lies. pictures are not memories for you can always put the photos away.

I keep seeing and hearing things that remind me of you and our childhood, maybe they are signs telling me that everything after all these years that you are sitting in the great skies up above shining down on me your guidance and love.

We are not yet done we will meet again and have a different type of fun. I remember the songs together we use to listen to when there was nothing else to do, I remember when we were playing catch and I missed the ball and split my cheek open,  I remember going to the mall with you and some girl thought I was some other guy you said to go with it dummy shes cute and a week a later she was your girlfriend.

Pictures are not memories but both will do when Big Brother we are thinking of you
