Inis Fáil

Dáibhí Óhailín 1986 (Florida)

Eirin, so beautiful.
Eirin, so rebellious.
Eirin, so dutiful.
Eirin,  so zealous.

You don't know,
The meaning of your sight.
Your stunning capture,
Expresses strong contrite.

Tara, the lonely.
Tara, so alone.
Tara, so loyal.
Tara, so outgrown.

Your doubt is wrong,
Your beauty is known.
Your ego is long,
Your love is shown.

Hibernia, the lovely,
Hibernia, the frail.
Hibernia , the ornery,
Hibernia, the pale.

You word has wavered,
Your dedication skewed.
We've heard you favored,
As a long prelude.

We commend you, Insula,
We praise your name.
We care for your aspera,
Our love remains.

So heed this verse,
as we commend.
Our love doesn't die,
it will never end.
