Fairytale Dreams

Julia Sierra 1983 (Galveston)

Seven years ago today if you would ask me where I would be?
Definitely wouldn’t say, living the life I dreamed.

A broken heart and shattered mind is what your eyes would see.
Even the scars that are visible told a part of my story for me.

Everyone goes through hard times so I would never say poor me, BUT that damage soul of mine was determined to be set free.

Our first kiss was so Perfectly done just like a movie scene.
Push me up against the wall and just gave it to me.

I was speechless to say at the least like, oh, shit, damn.
Trying to figure out what the hell was that? Was this just a dream?

You looked right into my eyes, smiled and said “now that is out the way.”
Like you didn’t just take my breath away.

I tried hard as hell to push you away. To keep those walls up and never let you see that part of me.

You refused to be a victim to my stubbornness and called me out on my feelings. You knew the look I gave you and knew exactly when I caved in.

Love isn’t perfect, so i would never say we are living a fairytale. But our connection is so strong, that our love will always prevail.

So here I am now, laying next to the man of my dreams. Thinking how perfect my life is with you on my team.

I could never explain in detail what you mean to me, for the love I have for you is as deep as an endless sea.

So here I am now, giving you all that you set free. My soul, my heart, my love and forever ME!
