Light in a shadow.
Broken, seems I’m lost again. Heads heavy, eyes down, so hard to look up. Lights warm embrace, I can see the trace of hope. How can this be, His love for me. Surrendered will, just be still, and breath. I am complete kept close beside at my Saviors feet. Look up to see his smiling face. I’m safe and loved in this place.
About this poem
Sometimes it’s hard to look up when we feel so down but with our next breath we only need to look up to see his hand was there waiting to lift us up from that dark place.
