Harry’s Lunch Event

Rhymed
It’s Thursday and
The cab shows up on time.
Coat, scarf, gloves
For trip sublime.
A burger shop it is.
Forget insipid fare.
It’s people and contentment
Settled there.
One waitress knows his choice
And speaks with kindly voice.
Hey Harry, how ya been
Sure cold today.
But Harry hears his Wife
The diamond in his Life.
Forgetting how that Cancer
Took away.
