the worst part of this breakup is we could have made it work
more so you could have made it work
you could have initiated the conversation
at least once
you could have asked about my day
every once in a while
to ask how I’m doing
you could have reassured me
when you went out partying with other guys
you could have taken some time from your social life
to at least text me
you could have said goodnight
because you knew I'd sleep better
you could have told me you missed me
when you went hours without talking
and most of all
You could have learned to love me again
