SELLING PIECES

mad hippie poet 1974 (new jersey)

You feel the need to sell your soul by the pound because you have mouths to feed so for the big boss man you carelessly bleed. you are just a number to them as you punch your time card even with your over price degree life is hard.

These dictators do not own you and you are not their working slave yet we all still remain to sell pieces of ourselves so they can make all the riches and gold. my question to you my brothers and sisters where is our wealth, why do we continue to feed their greed, while we can not afford to feed our families or ourselves?

Oh let us start living again f*ck selling pieces let the uprising begin. I will lead but I do not want you to follow I want you all to walk by my side while we lead this battle to take our power back.

We did not open our eyes this morning to get dressed in our suits &tie or are work uniforms our titles and jobs do not matter we were not born to march out to our slaughter or born to sell pieces of ourselves for the almighty dollar
