The Science Of Behavior

The Science Of Behavior

The prediction and control of behavior
Was their arragontly stated goal
And none of these misguided university psychologists
Believed there was any such thing as a spirit or a soul
They weren't really evil people, they didn't
Steal, lie much, or kill
But they did a world of damage mainly to the
Generation of students who studied in their field

They had no shame for the adulterous personal life,
That many of them led
They had no remorse for their mistreatment of the
Women they duped and took to bed
They claimed they could reduce human life to
Two or three simple rules
They were loud, vulgar, and irrevrent and they
Thought that they were cool

Because of them, to call yourself a psychologist,
You must have a phd
But by the the time you finish a doctorate,
A therapist you're unfit to be
History, philosophy, and literature didn't compose
Much of what they claimed as their education
Their lives and their students' are suffering
Because of their choice of a vocation
