Torched Ambivert

Crystal L Strong 1986 (North Carolina)

Standing in betwixt the crowd of flowers; taking in its scent, or is it a stench? I'm not quite sure yet. Another social demand from life that I could not escape. Now the extrovert in me eagerly awaits its chance to be seen. I can feel the push, my headspace is now flooded with words I want to say. COME ON, SAY SOMETHING, ANYTHING! Diffidence is getting the best of me. Does the flowers have a stench, or am I stinking up the place? I am sure I smell something. Is it judgment? Tick-tock, Tick-Tock I can feel my introverted stopwatch steadily counting the minutes. Tick-tock 5,4,3,2, the meeting is finally over and now I must go. Maybe next time...
