Did they do it at random?
A coin toss?
Did they point to
A district or sex.
Were they after
The rhyming
Or free verse.
Showing life as
Some songs
Or some wrecks.
We can all write
As poets, our pleasure.
Form be damned
If we wish.
We’re the Boss
But we must deduce
Judges’ sweet pleasure.
If we wish to score
More than a loss.
