~A Tearful Prayer~

Illusions enforce a wall-less jail, I’m walking through.
I decided to run, after the idea to flee captured me.
Where praying men are laid and set to be like the truth.
As detrimental opinions, birth caged parasitic realities?

Born again, into a world of freedom, once seen from.
The cell block of pain, mirror in right hand, looking left.
At his bruised hands, reaching, with an undying love.
Not only for me, but all, who are faithful unto death.

But would we know how to live again, without pain?
My aching, battered body is buried with the old me.
If my memory serves me correctly, I prayed for change.
A life, free of hate and misery. Yes! I did. The old me...

As this new creature learns to put his left foot down.
Gingerly, after innately placing his right? Openly, I...
Was taught, not to fight, what hurts, and isn't wrong.
Lessons understood now, every move, love is in sight.

When I blink, flashes of love flutter before my eyes…
I squint, and it’s a better view of the things unseen, I...
Faithfully close them, and fall from the heaven’s skies...
To heaven, yet I stand in a fallen world, where I lie...

In hope of a better tomorrow, that’s far from yesterday.
A day his love is present, now, and at the end of later.
And when and if I do make it, will I still cry as I pray?
In his presence and if I don’t, will he keep this prayer?

As I hope, it waters heaven’s garden as I'm weeping.
Because no matter where I go, within my going…
Like on earth, I will be tearfully praying…
That all will make it home, as I’m peacefully departing.

The furthest to his left… for where I’m going, I’ll be…
Happily, and painfully crying, that it’s just only me…
With no gnashing of teeth, please, believe…
If all are…then it’s only logical that I am free…

Note: I'm not in the position to lay my life down, and pick it up.
I am ONLY in the position of prayer, so I pray...
And, the falling tears that will continue to gather are all mines.
Sorry... I think they need me, because I know, I need them!

If I couldn't cry, I wouldn't know what to do...
Besides, pray...
Thanks, for just reading! I love all...

About this poem

A deep love and burning desire for all... To be free of pain, hate, and misery, that's all. Because I am only in the position of prayer, so I pray! For all...
