THE MID-WINTER BREAK

The time we students most await for,
Or the time when we take our studies seriously like a war.
The time when we say our worst year goodbye, while eating a tasty cake,
I am talking about the time when we have our mid-winter break.

At this time the valentine's day doesn't seems so far away,
Some practice to say 'I luv U' or for getting rejected while waiting for the day.
It is the time of year when we realize who is real or who is fake,
I am talking about the time when we have our mid-winter break.

At this time we realize, soon few gems will be separated from us,
A new year will begin without them and we will have to adjust.
Sometimes wishing for this year's retake,
I am talking about the time when we will be having our last mid-winter break.
