The Christmas Dinner
Piranhas have taken their seats -
Diametrically opposed -

Utensils clatter,
Sharp teeth squeak,
Honeyed pinkies in blankets
And crispy fried toes.

An intruder slips in -
Pantyhose atop his head
Thrusting his carving fork around
Madly placing Yule Log on the plates
Of his compadres
