The chalice and the blood

The chalice and the blood.

The owl hoots,
She answers Minerva's voice,
The chiming of rings of hell,
The dance of temple troops.

Obscene voices,
Grunting of misery,
Robes of darkness,
Sparks of fire.

Let the cross roads,
Bear the dogs of Hecate,
Bearing light from sheol,
That plunders the unknown.

There stands the wizard,
In a circle of blood and stones,
His athame has sucked blood,
To open the portals of Abyss.

Great are thou tales,
Sisters of triplicity,
The Virgin sheds her innocence,
How art the mighty fallen.

Incantations of the horned ones,
Mirrors of cerridwen,
Red and black are the colours,
Be careful oh you mortal.

I am the seer,
That stares into the gem,
I am the lover,
Of the tri-being.

I  am the sacrifice for imbolc,
The drunk from the chalice of old,
Come and spread thy incense,
Fill me with broth.
