Sidewalks Are Silly

Sidewalks are silly; nobody walks these days…

bicycles tricycles scooters or trains;

nobody walks these days, it's just not the same.

Treadmills and free weights yoga and zen;

Living your best life right up to the end…

Sidewalks are silly…I don’t mean to offend.

Nobody walks these days…no need to pretend

If you walk for a mile walk with a friend

sidewalks are silly; nobody walks these days,

Airplanes and rockets, satellites and stars

Nobody walks these days, driving in cars.

People and pets, doctors and vets

Just slow down…nobody walks these days

Flying in jets…nobody walks these days

Take it from me…nobody walks these days,

Do you want to walk with me?
