Shattered
Shattered…
It’s hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember
every now and then we found that special one
they say love speak no language
your eyes use to talk to me in codes that no one else could read
I’m sadden like I’ve never been before
the life I’ve new in a million pieces
feeling I will never get back to the me I use to be
my yesterday is a closed door, I don’t live there anymore
I once read, humans originally had two faces
four arms, four legs and they were happy like that, complete
then the humans livid the gods
the gods split us in two as punishment torn us away from our other halves
each of us when separated is always looking for our other halves it’s our nature
when one is met with his other halve the pair gets lost in an amazement of love, friendship, intimacy
one will not be seeing out of the others sight
human nature was once originally one, and we were hole
the desire and the pursued of the hole are called love
You where my hole, my best friend, my alpha, and omega
you said the most beautiful things in life are not things
they’re people, places, memories, picture,
they’re feelings, moments, smiles, laughter
I trusted, believed, loved you
when something breaks and the pieces are large enough, you can fix it
unfortunately, sometimes things don’t break, they shatter
but when you let the light in shatter glass will glitter and, in those moments,
I’ll remember just how beautiful we were
