Panchatatva: Beyond Books

Avni Yadav 2008 (Raipur)

“BEYOND BOOKS- PANCHATATVA”

“Elements aren’t only in Chemistry,

Relax, there isn’t any new subject!

They are within you, within me….

An integral part of our future, present and history

We are the poetry of five elements

Earth, water, air, fire, sky it represents

They are in us,

And we in them..

Sky, the envelope of earth, like soul to body,

Our fate depends on rest three

They stay within the envelope, within the earth

And their movement is free.

We need water to drink,

Air to respire,

Food is simplified to energy, by fire

Aren’t they so worthy? Just think…!!

Our life is impossible without these gem,

Lets promise to always cherish them…..!!”

About this poem

This is a piece of poetry, representing the beauty and significance of panchatatva, the five elements, that out earth comprise of. I hereby try to spread an awareness to this young generation that we humans protect these elements as our life is meaningless without these elements.
