London Bridge

Lorraine Wade 1967 (St. Clair, Alabama)

London Bridge is falling down
Is how the fairy tale went
The Queen and her court has all jump in
The world watches as we wait for a reply
Only to see plane that looks like birds in the sky
London what went wrong how did your song change
As all the king horsemen and men tried hard to rearrange
The world can still see oh London you have changed
Maybe for the best the fairy tale was old indeed
And the Queen has replied London will live with me until the world has died
