Invierno

Rebekah Laybourn 1997 (Boise, Idaho)

Downy flakes
Catching in my golden hair
Covering the earth
In a fluffy, alabaster blanket

Tiny pawprints
Leading to the frost-covered trees
In pursuit of tiny birds
The last living things
Left in this snowglobe world

Sparkling snow
Bringing light to my heart
The darkest days of the year
